Tumut Bushwalking
Tumut is the gateway to the northern section of Kosciusko National Park and home to a myriad of walking tracks ranging from short walks to the demanding Hume and Hovell track, a 440 km walking track, stretching from Yass to Albury, following in the footsteps of explorers Hamilton Hume and William Hovell, who in 1824 journeyed from Appin near Sydney to Port Phillip in Victoria.
